The highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash in the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup will now take place in Dubai on October 6, following the ICC’s announcement of revised fixtures.

The tournament, originally scheduled to be held in Bangladesh, has been moved to the United Arab Emirates due to political instability in the host country.

Dubai will also be the venue for the tournament's grand finale on October 20, solidifying its position as a key location for the event.

Sharjah, the second host city, is set to host the critical India-Australia match on October 13 and the second semifinal on October 18.

The group compositions remain unchanged, with Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in Group A, while South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland are in Group B.

Each team will compete in four group-stage matches, with the top two from each group progressing to the semifinals.

The ICC has ensured that reserve days are scheduled for both the semifinals and the final, adding a layer of security to the tournament's schedule.

The relocation to the UAE is seen as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and smooth running of the event amidst the ongoing instability in Bangladesh.

Furthermore, 10 warm-up matches are set to take place from September 28 to October 1.
