Memphis rapper GloRilla recently caused controversy after previewing a new track that included a problematic lyric.

Last week, she shared a snippet of the upcoming single while in the studio, leading fans to anticipate another hit. However, the track faced backlash for the lyric “Me and my b*tch r*tarded,” with many condemning the use of the R-word as offensive.

In response to the criticism, GloRilla posted a video on Sunday of herself and friends dancing to the track at a convenience store, featuring the revised lyric. The R-word was replaced with "naughty," changing the line to "Me and my b*tch go naughty." This update was well-received by many of her fans.

The official title and release date for the single have not been announced.

GloRilla has enjoyed significant success in 2024, with tracks like “Yeah Glo” and “Wanna Be” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, both from her “Ehhthang Ehhthang” mixtape, which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200.
