American retailer Gap has launched its fall 2024 campaign, making waves in the denim world with a fresh take.

Set to Thundercat's viral track "Funny Thing," the campaign film, directed by Dan Martensen, is captivating. Choreographed by Sergio Reis, the campaign showcases Gap’s new denim collection through a fluid display of self-expression, with each dance move reflecting the quest for the perfect pair of jeans.

"Dance has become a staple in my life, giving me confidence and a sense of timeless cool," Sivan said. "Being part of the Gap campaign and wearing their denim feels like a perfect fit." Indeed, Sivan's effortless style shines through as he dons the Men's Baggy Jean, a dark wash denim with a nostalgic edge.

As autumn arrives, Gap introduces a new denim collection. The fall lineup features a variety of washes and fits for every preference. For women, the Baggy, Extra Baggy, and Horseshoe Jeans offer both commanding shape and comfort. The men's collection, including the '90s Loose Jean, Baggy Jean, and Denim Cargos, pays homage to the grunge era with a modern twist.

Gap’s styling includes classic tees, utility pieces, and shirts that complement the denim, creating timeless and accessible looks.

With a social media following of 39 million, Troye Sivan embodies Gap’s ethos. His transition from actor and vlogger to award-winning musician resonates with Gap’s diverse global customer base. Sivan will also curate an in-store playlist for Spotify, enhancing the retail experience.

Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of Gap, notes, “this fall, we are celebrating Gap's 55-year heritage in denim with a collection of loose styles that allow for self-expression…Our new campaign featuring Troye Sivan perfectly captures the spirit of this moment with an attitude that showcases the movement of our denim and delivers fashion as entertainment.”

The fall denim collection is available now in stores and online.
