Is an Oasis reunion on the horizon?

Liam and Noel Gallagher, the famously feuding Oasis co-founders, seem to be hinting at a reunion. Both brothers posted a mysterious clip on their X/Twitter accounts on Sunday, showing the date August 27, 2024, and the time 8 a.m. The official Oasis website also prominently displays "27.08.24."

While such posts are often used to promote album reissues or archival content, the timing coincides with recent rumors about Oasis performing in the U.K. in 2025, including a potential 10-night stint at London’s Wembley Stadium. Liam Gallagher’s recent social media activity has added fuel to these speculation flames.

"I never did like that word FORMER," Liam wrote on X. In response to a user criticizing Oasis's past venue choice, Liam quipped, "See you down the front you big fanny."

Oasis disbanded in 2009 following Noel Gallagher's departure. Earlier this year, the band was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which many thought could lead to a reunion. However, Liam Gallagher dismissed this possibility, saying on X, “Fuck the Rock n Roll hall of fame its full of BUMBACLARTS,” and adding, “The little fella loves hanging out with celebrities so he’d prob go; as for me I’m washing my hair and having a pedicure and a manicure.”

In June, Liam began a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of Oasis’s debut album “Definitely Maybe,” with a new reissue set for release on August 30.
