PHA to be established in all districts

Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the cleanliness of all cities, villages, streets and neighbourhoods in the province would be ensured.

Presiding over a meeting to review administrative matters, she said the people should see a clear improvement in cleanliness and other affairs. A decision was made to establish a Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) in every district across Punjab.

The chief minister directed the officials concerned to establish green belts along the roads and take continuous care of them. The CM directed the administration to increase its focus on the beautification of cities.

She called for maximum plantation along with making functional the street lights in all cities of the province.
