Fair Play: Traffic officials return bag containing valuables
Two officials of ITP on Friday returned the lost valuables including thousands of rupees in cash to their owner.
ISLAMABAD:
Two officials of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday returned the lost valuables including thousands of rupees in cash to their owner.
The ITP officials ASI Haq Nawaz and mechanic Wajid Hussain of the Help Unit (1915) found an abandoned bag containing thousands of rupees and valuable documents on Kashmir Highway, belonging to Shoaib Khan, a resident of Humak.
The help unit of ITP serves round-the-clock to help the road users and ensure their safe commute towards destination and patrol different areas. The two police officials, using resources available at hand, traced Khan and asked him for confirmation of his lost bag. After which, the bag and its belongings were returned to Khan in the presence of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)Traffic Dr Moeen Masood.
Khan praised ITP for its professionalism and official’s sense of duty.
