Rawalpindi Test second innings: Bangladesh take six wickets as Pakistan struggle for lead

On the final day of the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan was reeling at 108 for 6 by the lunch break in their second innings.

Starting the day at 21 for 1, Pakistan quickly lost crucial wickets, including captain Shan Masood who fell after adding just 5 runs. Babar Azam contributed 22 runs, while Abdullah Shafique scored 37.

Saud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha were both dismissed without scoring. Mohammad Rizwan (22) and Shaheen Afridi (2) are currently at the crease, with Pakistan still trailing by 9 runs to wipe out Bangladesh's lead.

Bangladesh's bowlers, led by Shakib Al Hasan with two wickets, kept the pressure on, each chipping in with crucial breakthroughs.

The game is delicately poised, with Bangladesh's bowlers looking to capitalise on their momentum and seal the victory.

For Pakistan, the focus will be on survival and trying to build a defendable target.
