Eminem's daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, has been moved to tears by her father's recent songs about their relationship.

During the August 23rd episode of her podcast, "Just a Little Shady," the 28-year-old revealed she "audibly sobbed" while listening to "Somebody Save Me" and "Temporary."

"Somebody Save Me," a collaboration with Jelly Roll, imagines a universe where Eminem didn't overcome his drug addiction and apologizes for the impact it would have had on his family. The song includes poignant messages directly to Hailie, and the accompanying music video features childhood footage of her and her siblings. Hailie admitted she cried while watching the video and can't bring herself to watch it again.

"Temporary," on the other hand, is a song Eminem wrote to help Hailie cope with his eventual death, urging her to move on and find happiness. Hailie was particularly affected by this song, confessing she "audibly sobbed" while listening to it.

Although Eminem has been open about his struggles with addiction throughout his career, Hailie credits her parents for shielding her from the severity of his problems during her childhood. Listening to these songs and watching the music video has given her a new perspective on her father's past and the potential consequences of his addiction.

Eminem, who celebrated 16 years of sobriety in April, has been candid about his journey to recovery. He has previously spoken about his near-fatal overdose in 2007 and his struggles with addiction to sleeping pills and painkillers.

These new songs offer a glimpse into the rapper's personal life and the profound impact his addiction had on his family. While the songs are emotionally challenging for Hailie, they also highlight the strength of their bond and Eminem's love for his daughter.
