Jake Paul has upped the stakes in his ongoing rivalry with YouTuber IShowSpeed by challenging him to a 40-yard dash with $25,000 on the line. The bet was made during the August 22, 2024, episode of BS with Jake Paul, where guests Michael Rubin and Gary Vee quickly expressed their doubts about Paul’s ability to win.

“I want to race Speed…in a forty-yard dash, I beat Speed,” Paul confidently stated, dismissing the idea of a boxing match between the two. However, Rubin and Vee weren't convinced, leading them to agree to a $25,000 bet that Paul would lose.

“Speed, this is the call out,” Jake declared before shaking hands with Rubin and Vee. After returning to his seat, Paul quipped, “He’s not that fast,” eliciting laughter from those in the room.

When asked to set a date for the race, Paul simply replied, “Whenever he’s ready, fly him out.”

The challenge comes as influencer boxers like Jake Paul, KSI, and IShowSpeed continue to compare themselves in various feats of strength and speed during streams and podcasts. IShowSpeed, known for his competitive nature, recently surprised fans by participating in the 2024 Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling competition.

This isn’t the first time Speed has been challenged; he recently agreed to race a 2024 Paris Olympic runner after being called out online. As for Jake Paul, his competitive streak is well-known, with a much-anticipated boxing match against the legendary Mike Tyson on the horizon.

At the time of writing, IShowSpeed has yet to respond to Jake Paul’s challenge, leaving fans in suspense over when and where this race will take place.
