Jamie Lee Curtis recently took to Instagram to respond to a leaked paparazzi photo from the set of the upcoming Disney sequel, Freakier Friday.
The photo, which was initially shared by other outlets, led Curtis to post it herself, accompanied by a candid caption that offers fans a peek into the fun and camaraderie behind the scenes.
“OK. Because other outlets have posted it, I am going to take advantage of the intrusion of a paparazzi picture into the creative process of filmmaking,” Curtis wrote.
She also teased the shared experience audiences can expect when Freakier Friday hits theaters next year. “We have tried so hard to keep our story a secret and private until it's time for release, but once in a while, an image comes out, and it doesn't tell you anything about the story or about what's going on with the characters, but it does show the joy and fun that we had making #FREAKIERFRIDAY,” Curtis added.
This isn’t the first time Curtis has provided fans with updates on the highly anticipated sequel. She recently shared a “no filter” selfie on Instagram, celebrating the completion of filming and expressing her excitement about reuniting with co-star Lindsay Lohan.
Curtis also highlighted the involvement of new talents like Julia Butters and Sophia Hammons in the film.
