Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, reportedly faced challenges as she took on the role of “marriage counselor” and “mediator” during her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s separation from Jennifer Lopez.

“John doesn’t like sharing Jen, and there is a divide when it comes to her and Ben,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday.

“He wishes it wasn’t like that because he understands they are a family, but it gets to him like it would anyone.”

“John doesn’t have any fears that they are getting back together — but it has been tough coping with her support for Ben during his split from J.Lo.”

Although the “Alias” star and the Cali Group CEO are reportedly still together, they have been working to reach a “better place” after her ex’s divorce situation.

“John is looking forward to Ben and J.Lo’s split being done so he can start focusing on Jen,” the insider added, as reported by Page Six.

“It is just going to take a little time. They both want to be in a better place, but some work needs to be done.”

The source also mentioned that Miller’s patience while Garner supported Affleck made the “13 Going on 30” actress, 52, fall even more in love with the businessman.

“The relationship that Ben and Jen have is different, and where that bothers John, Jen actually likes that it is different because that is what attracted her to John in the first place,” the insider explained.

Garner and Miller have been dating since 2018 and have kept their relationship private.

She and Affleck, 52, were together from 2005 to 2015, though they did not finalize their divorce until 2018. They share three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The “Argo” actor married Lopez in July 2022 in Las Vegas after they rekindled their relationship in 2021 following her breakup with retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
