British singer Lily Allen recently shared a hilarious yet frustrating story about her short-lived experience with an adopted puppy. On her "Miss Me?" podcast, Allen revealed that she had to return the dog after it devoured her and her children's passports.
This canine culinary escapade led to a logistical nightmare during the COVID-19 pandemic, costing Allen a significant amount of money to replace the documents. Additionally, the incident prevented her children from visiting their father, Sam Cooper, who lives in England, for several months.
Allen, who currently resides in New York with her husband David Harbour and her two daughters, expressed her frustration, stating, "I just couldn't look at her. I was like, you've ruined my life." While the passports were the final straw, Allen clarified that the dog's overall behavior was problematic, making it a poor fit for her family.
Despite the unfortunate incident, Allen and her family seem to be doing well. She married Harbour in 2020 and continues to co-parent her daughters with Cooper.
