New Pakistan envoy to US takes charge
Ambassador Sheikh, who is career diplomat, replaced Masood Khan as Pakistan's Ambassador to the US.

The newly appointed Pakistani Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has officially assumed his diplomatic responsibilities after arriving in the US capital, Washington, DC.
According to the Pakistani mission in Washington, the new envoy took charge on Wednesday. Ambassador Sheikh, who is career diplomat, replaced Masood Khan as Pakistan's Ambassador to the US.
The change of command at the Pakistani diplomatic mission in Washington comes at a critical juncture when the US is set to elect a new President later this year.
