Sindh to provide free education in private schools for children of terrorism victims

Children from low-income families and those of martyred parents will receive free education in private schools

Sindh has decided to offer free education in private schools to children of parents who have fallen victim to terrorism.

In an official communication on Thursday, Additional Director of Private Institutions Sindh, Rafia Javed, informed private schools of the decision to provide free education to children of parents affected by terrorism.

Rafia Javed stated, "Children from low-income families and those of martyred parents will receive free education in private schools."

She also instructed schools to establish committees comprising parents and teachers to oversee the implementation of this initiative.

The additional director further mentioned that these committees would determine which children are eligible, with a mandate to provide free education to 10% of the total student population.

"Action will be taken against schools that fail to comply with the directive to offer free education to 10% of such children," Rafia Javed added.
