Ben Affleck appears stressed one day after Jennifer Lopez files for divorce

Ben Affleck appeared stressed as he was seen smoking a cigarette a day after his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary.

The “Argo” actor was spotted smoking with his car windows down as he drove to his Los Angeles office on Wednesday afternoon.

Affleck was notably without his wedding ring, with his arm hanging out the window.

The actor returned to work after arriving back on the West Coast Tuesday with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

The former couple spent the past week helping their 18-year-old daughter, Violet, move into her dorm at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Affleck, 52, was in good spirits as he was photographed disembarking a private jet with Garner, 52, and their 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina, just hours before Lopez ended their marriage.

Later that day, the “Gone Girl” actor was seen walking in a parking garage outside his workplace amid the news that Lopez had filed for divorce.

Lopez, 55, submitted the divorce papers in a Los Angeles court on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding.

A source told Page Six that the “On the Floor” singer chose the milestone date to file the papers to assert herself as “a woman standing up in her own way.”

The former couple, who initially eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022, did not sign a prenup.
