KHAIRPUR:
The FIR of a murder was registered against six policemen at Hingorja police station in Khairpur on Friday on court orders. The Sindh High Court bench in Sukkur ordered the action to be taken for the murder of a driver, Niaz Saheto. The policemen include Pir Jo Goth DSP Abdul Qadir Chandio, ASI Ashiq Ali Shambani and Hajjan Jeho, PCs Abdul Ghani Abro, Jalaluddin Birohi and Ehsan Mangi. Saheto’s mther Badurunissa had filed a petition alleging that they killed him in a fake encounter. The police had not registered any FIR or started any investigation.
