Man with 29 iPhones strapped to body arrested at Karachi airport

Pakistan Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle valuable iPhones, laptops, women's clothing, and cosmetics through Jinnah International Airport, arresting a passenger who had 29 mobile phones strapped to his body.

According to Additional Collector Faisal Khan, the passenger, Muhammad Danial Nasir, arrived on Flydubai flight FZ333 and attempted to pass through the green channel with his luggage.

"Customs officials, acting on suspicion, moved the passenger to the examination counter for a thorough inspection of his body and belongings," Khan said.

During the search, officials discovered 29 iPhones strapped to the passenger's body. An additional 14 iPhones, 2 laptops, women's clothing, chocolates, and cosmetics were found in his luggage.

Khan stated that the recovered items are valued at Rs7.5 million.

Authorities have registered a case, arrested the passenger, and seized the smuggled goods.
