Taylor Swift’s tell-all Eras Tour documentary will cover Southport attack
Taylor Swift will be documenting her record-breaking Eras Tour for a tell-all documentary as per reports.
The pop star is said to be capturing how her 149 shows were put together as part of her massive world tour. She will discuss the realities of life on tour and her position as a leading figure in pop music, according to reports. Taylor is also expected to address recent tragic events, including the Southport attack and the Vienna terror threat.
Taylor is familiar with documentaries, having previously shared insights into her life in the Netflix show Miss Americana. The 2020 release showcased the reality of being one of the world's biggest stars. She is now reportedly filming a new series. “Taylor has been quietly filming behind the scenes of the Eras Tour since last year," a source told the Sun.
"It will be a warts—and—all insight into the tour and the mechanics behind it, which will be fascinating for fans. The documentary will also reference Southport and Vienna." The source added that the show will be "powerful and emotional" but also an "uplifting celebration" of the Bad Blood singer and her fans.
There are also claims that the show will delve into the making of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Her 11th album reached number one in April, following her split from actor Joe Alwyn and her brief relationship with The 1975's Matty Healy. She has since started dating American football player Travis Kelce, who is reportedly set to appear on screen.
Just this weekend, many of Taylor's fans speculated that she was working on a new show. A camera was seen filming the pop star as she performed on stage. During her three-hour show, Taylor enters the stadium in a janitor's cleaning cart that conceals her until she is ready to make her entrance.
