Taylor Swift brings out Florence Welch for ‘Florida!!!’ performance at Wembley stadium: Watch

Fans at Wembley Stadium were in for a surprise when Taylor Swift brought Florence Welch on stage for an unexpected duet of "Florida!!!" during the final night of the European leg of the Eras Tour. 

The collaboration caught many off guard, especially as anticipation had been building for a possible "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" announcement.

The surprise unfolded after Swift performed "So High School," with the lead singer of Florence and the Machine making a dramatic entrance from beneath the stage. 

A newly choreographed routine featuring Swift's dancers added to the excitement, with the center platform lifting the two artists and the dancers into the air during the song's first verse. 

The performance was enhanced by a swampy green animation displayed on the back screens, framing the "Tortured Poets" addition.

As the pair moved down the catwalk, the audience erupted with chants of "Florida!!! It's one hell of a drug." The green light-up wristbands worn by fans illuminated the stadium, with the lights flashing in sync with the song's signature beat. 

Reports indicate that rehearsals for the performance continued overnight into the early hours of the morning, signaling the level of preparation that went into the surprise.

Following the performance of Track 8 from "The Tortured Poets Department," Welch took a bow, blew a kiss to Swift, and the two transitioned into "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me." 

They held hands and skipped back to the diamond section of the stage, much to the delight of the crowd. This marked the first live performance of "Florida!!!" on the Eras Tour since the album's release in April.

Earlier in the week, Swift had surprised fans by bringing out her longtime friend Ed Sheeran during an acoustic set on Thursday, and Jack Antonoff during the acoustic section on Tuesday. Swift now has a two-month break before the tour resumes in Miami.
