Macklemore surprises Palestinian fans by sporting Palestino jersey during European tour

The rapper showed his support as Palestino is gears up for their Copa Sudamericana round of 16 rematch.

American rapper Macklemore, currently on his European tour, recently made waves by posting a photo on social media wearing a Palestino shirt.

After performing at the San Hejmo Festival in Weeze, Germany, the artist known for hits like “Thrift Shop” and “Can't Hold Us” shared pictures from the show on his Instagram account. Among the photos was an image of Macklemore sporting Palestino's latest third jersey, which is white with green stripes.

In his post, Macklemore expressed his enjoyment of the experience in Weeze, writing, “We lived a lifetime of experience in Weeze, Germany. After the show I didn’t want to leave. I enjoyed it all. Love you guys.”

On the sports front, Palestino is gearing up for their Copa Sudamericana round of 16 rematch against Independiente de Medellín. The 'Arab' team drew 2-2 in the first leg, and the second leg, which will determine their advancement to the quarter-finals, is scheduled to take place this Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in Colombia.
