IHC seeks replies over internet slowdown
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought replies from authorities concerned over the alleged installation of content-filtering firewall and the recent slowdown of the internet.
IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition against the installation of firewall and slowdown of the internet. Iman Mazari, counsel for the petitioner, appeared before the court.
The court observed that the speed of the internet was slow across the country and wanted to know the reason behind it before issuing any order.
The court issued notices to the respondents and adjourned the hearing till Monday.
