These terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities and were also responsible for Shahadat of the Panjgur deputy commissioner, Zakir Ali, on August 12, it added.

TTP terrorists killed
Three suspected terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire between terrorists and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Daraban tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday.
The CTD officials, including an SP, narrowly escaped unhurt when TTP operatives opened fire at a police party. In the return fire, three terrorists, including the intelligence chief of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed, while other members of the group escaped into a nearby forest.
According to the local police, around 15 terrorists set up a blockade and started searching for government officials in the passenger vehicles in Daraban on the main highway connecting K-P with Balochistan.
On information, the CTD SP was sent to the spot. When the terrorists saw the police, they immediately opened fire, which was responded effectively by the CTD. Preliminary investigations revealed that the three slain terrorists were identified as Rangin Khan, Saddam Khan and Qudratullah.
According to the police, Rangin Khan was the intelligence chief of the TTP Gandapur group and a very important figure in the banned militant group. Rangin Khan was previously injured in a drone attack a few days ago and involved in the assault on the Daraban and Chaudhwan police stations.
The CTD police have recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of the deceased.
