Karachi to experience cloudy weather, light rain over next three days

Karachi is expected to experience partly to fully cloudy weather with chances of light rain, drizzle, and scattered showers over the next three days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

On Tuesday, various parts of the city saw light to moderate rainfall due to the effects of monsoon winds. The highest recorded rainfall was 8.5mm in Quaidabad.

The city remained overcast throughout Tuesday, with sea breezes persisting and light rain and drizzle reported in several areas.

According to data from the Meteorological Department, Quaidabad recorded 8.5mm of rain, Korangi 5.6mm, Gadap 3.4mm, Orangi Town 3.2mm, and Met Complex 2.6mm. Gulshan-e-Hadeed and Surjani recorded 2mm each, while Nazimabad saw 1.2mm of rain.

The lowest rainfall was recorded in DHA Phase 2, with just 1mm.

The department's forecast indicates that the city will continue to experience cloudy weather, with light rain and drizzle expected during the evening and night hours over the next three days.
