Taylor Swift calls Maisie Peters "The Best Opening Act" at Wembley Concert
Taylor Swift, 34, took a moment during her Wembley Stadium concert in London on Monday to praise English singer-songwriter Maisie Peters, 24, who opened the show. In front of a crowd of 92,000 fans, Swift referred to Maisie as the "most amazing opening act possible" and expressed her admiration for her talent.
Swift, currently on the second leg of her Eras Tour, which includes five shows at the London venue, told the audience that she is a "big fan" of Maisie's work, highlighting her exceptional songwriting skills. "She is amazing, she is absolutely incredible, crushed it on this stage, love her songwriting so much!" Swift added during her tribute.
Maisie Peters, who shared her excitement on Instagram with photos from her soundcheck, is signed to Ed Sheeran's label, Gingerbread Man Records. She made headlines last year by becoming the youngest female British artist in nine years to achieve a number one album with her record The Good Witch. Her debut album, You Signed Up For This, also performed strongly, reaching number two on the UK charts.
