Taylor Swift supported by ex Taylor Lautner at Wembley concert
Taylor Lautner continues to demonstrate that there’s no lingering tension with his former girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
On Monday, August 19, the Twilight star, alongside his wife, Tay Lautner, attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour performance at Wembley Stadium in London.
Social media posts captured the couple in a VIP section of the stadium, adorned with friendship bracelets, enjoying the concert with friends. Lautner, 32, shared a video of Swift performing “You Belong With Me,” with him singing in the background.
His wife was also seen dancing to “I Knew You Were Trouble,” which Lautner documented on his social media.
This marks the second time Lautner has attended one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts. In July 2023, he was present at her Kansas City show, where Swift invited him on stage. He delighted the audience with flips down the stage’s walkway.
During that performance, Swift acknowledged Lautner’s role in her “I Can See You” music video, saying, “He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album.”
She further added that both Lautner and his wife had become close friends, humorously noting their shared first name.
Lautner and Swift briefly dated in late 2009 after meeting on the set of Valentine’s Day. They amicably parted ways later that year.
Lautner, who married Tay in 2022, reflected on his enduring friendship with Swift during a December 2023 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. He expressed respect for her, stating, “I’ve always had the deepest respect for who she is as a person before anything else.”
As Swift continues to succeed professionally, Lautner has expressed his happiness for her personal achievements as well.
In November 2023, he shared his support for Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, stating, “As long as she’s happy, I’m happy.”
