Machine Gun Kelly recently shared that his teenage daughter played a crucial role in his path to sobriety. During an appearance on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast, the 34-year-old musician revealed that a heart-wrenching conversation with his 15-year-old daughter Casie, who was only 11 or 12 at the time, was the catalyst for his recovery.

MGK recalled Casie telling him she could tell when he was high, a realization that deeply affected him. Although it took him a few years to fully commit to sobriety, that moment served as a powerful wake-up call. He acknowledged the challenges of overcoming addiction but emphasized his determination to break the cycle for his daughter's sake.

Earlier this month, MGK celebrated one year of sobriety, proudly stating he's been "completely sober from everything." He credits his daughter's honesty and his desire to be a better father for his successful journey to recovery.
