Qureshi's remand extended

Anti-Terrorism Court extended a 14-day judicial remand of accused PTI's prominent leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi in different cases registered against him in response to May 9 riots occurred after the arrest of PTI's founding chairman Imran Khan.

Meanwhile, ATC judge also granted pre-arrest bails to PTI's MPA Hafiz Farhat Abbas in two FIRs registered against him in response to set ablaze outside Jinnah House, attacking police, creating law and order and chaos on May 9.

The ATC judge restrained the concerned police from arresting the petitioner till September 7.
