Capital police net 10 outlaws

In a sweeping operation, the capital police apprehended 10 outlaws from different parts of the city, seizing a cache of drugs and weapons with ammunition.

Acting on the instructions from IGP Islamabad, the police teams recovered one 30-bore pistol from Sangjani, 1190 grams of heroin from Sumbal, illegal petrol from Koral, one 30-bore pistol from Kirpa, and 550 grams of hashish from Shahzad Town.

Moreover, the police also arrested 4 absconders and target offenders from various areas of the city. Cases have been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is underway. On the other hand, street crime and robberies are on the rise in Islamabad, with 29 incidents reported.
