Tension between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively reportedly marred the production of their latest film, It Ends With Us, with sources claiming that Baldoni felt "sidelined" during the project.

According to an insider, there was a division on set between "team Blake" and "team Justin," resulting in a negative atmosphere that ultimately led to the two stars not speaking to each other.

Despite being the film's director, Baldoni, 40, allegedly felt "hurt and sidelined" by Lively's decisions, which included making changes to the script and wardrobe without consulting him or his team.

The source mentioned, "[Justin] was made to feel that his vision wasn’t as important as Blake’s, and it stifled the creativity on set."

The tensions reportedly stemmed from creative differences that had been brewing since the beginning of the project. However, another source defended Lively, stating that any changes she made were in the interest of "creating the best film possible" and honoring the original Colleen Hoover novel.

This source also emphasized that Lively's role as a producer justified her close collaboration with Colleen Hoover and other female team members on set.

Despite these claims, a third insider alleged that Lively, 36, simply "does not have a good opinion" of Baldoni. Speculation about a possible feud intensified when the two did not participate in joint press activities or pose together at the New York City premiere on August 6.

Adding to the controversy, Page Six reported that Lively felt "uncomfortable" on set, with sources describing the atmosphere as "extremely difficult."

TMZ further alleged that Lively was "fat-shamed" by Baldoni after he inquired about her weight with an on-set trainer, shortly after she had given birth to her fourth child.

Another source countered this by suggesting that Lively was "really impatient" and eager to leave the set once her scenes were completed.
