The drama surrounding It Ends With Us has led many fans to question if Blake Lively might secretly be a “mean girl.”

There are conflicting reports about the movie's behind-the-scenes tension: some suggest director Justin Baldoni was inappropriate, while others claim Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds used their influence to shape the project in her favor. The situation remains murky.

As people dig deeper into Blake’s past, her history with co-stars from Gossip Girl comes under scrutiny. Notably, her former co-stars—including Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, and Michelle Trachtenberg—don’t follow her on Instagram. The only Gossip Girl cast member still following her is Chace Crawford.

There have been longstanding rumors about friction between Blake and Leighton, who played Serena and Blair on the show. Executive producer Joshua Safran confirmed in 2017 that while they were cordial on set, they weren’t friends, describing Blake as “very much in the moment” and Leighton as “very removed and very quiet.”

The fact that Blake is not followed by any of her former co-stars—aside from Chace, who seems notably kind—raises questions. Could this silence from her past colleagues be indicative of something more? What are your thoughts, readers? Is Blake Lively really a “mean girl”?
