Dakota Johnson shows off massive emerald engagement Ring, shuts down Chris Martin breakup rumors

Dakota Johnson recently showcased her large emerald engagement ring, dismissing rumors of a breakup with her fiancé, Chris Martin.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress was seen flaunting the stunning ring while dining with Jeremy Allen White and Blake Lee in Malibu, California, on Friday. Johnson, dressed in a tan coat and flared jeans, appeared irritated as she faced photographers in a parking lot.

On the same day, Johnson’s representative addressed speculation about her relationship with Martin, 47, stating, “The reports are not true. They are happily together.” The breakup rumors had surfaced after a source told the Daily Mail that the couple had acknowledged their relationship was over and decided to move on. Additionally, Johnson had not been seen wearing her engagement ring and was missing from the European leg of Coldplay’s "Music of the Spheres" tour.

Johnson and Martin, who began dating in 2017, were last seen together at the Glastonbury Festival in June. They first sparked engagement rumors in December 2020 when Johnson was spotted with the emerald ring, and reports later confirmed they had been engaged for six years. Martin, who was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow, shares two children with her and has maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship with Paltrow and her husband, Brad Falchuk. Johnson has also expressed her love for her stepchildren, stating, “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart.”
