Tajikistan invites students from Bishkek

Tajikistan Ambassador Yusuf Sharifzoda has said that Pakistani students affected by recent incidents in Kyrgyzstan can continue their studies at the same level in Tajik universities.

The ambassador called on Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan on Sunday and discussed issues related to strengthening relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan in the fields of trade, culture and education.

He said special facilities would be given to Pakistani investors in Tajikistan. The ambassador said cultural delegations from Tajikistan would come to Pakistan.

He said Pakistani businessmen had vast opportunities to export surgical instruments and leather products to the markets of Tajikistan.

Punjab Governor Saleem Haider there were opportunities for foreign investors in various sectors in Pakistan and Tajik investors could benefit from the facilities being given to businessmen through the Special Facilitation Council. He said business activities between Pakistan and Tajikistan should increase.
