Vijay Raaz removed from 'Son of Sardaar 2' cast after alleged dispute with Ajay Devgn

The decision was made after Raaz allegedly failed to inquire about Devgn's well-being, among other issues.

Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz has been dropped from the upcoming film 'Son of Sardaar 2' following a reported fallout with lead star Ajay Devgn.

The decision was made after Raaz allegedly failed to inquire about Devgn's well-being, among other issues.

According to Indian media, the film's co-producer, Kumar Mangat Pathak, disclosed in a recent interview that Vijay Raaz was removed due to his inappropriate behaviour and excessive demands on set.

Pathak mentioned that Raaz had demanded a higher fee for his spot boy, stating that the spot boy charges ₨68,800 per night, a figure the production team found unreasonable.

Raaz also requested a vanity van and a larger room for himself, demands that the producers could not accommodate, leading to his exclusion from the film.

Vijay Raaz, however, provided a different perspective when speaking to the Indian media. He claimed that his removal from the 'Son of Sardaar 2' cast occurred because he did not ask about Ajay Devgn's well-being upon arriving on set.

Raaz explained that Devgn was busy with his work, which is why he refrained from interrupting him. According to Raaz, he was informed of his removal from the film just 30 minutes after arriving on set.

The production team has since replaced Vijay Raaz with actor Sanjay Mishra in the film's cast.
