Roman Karlash backs Shark Tank Pakistan after it receives over 1,000 ideas

Shark Tank offers entrepreneurs a chance to pitch ideas to investors, who provide funding and mentorship.

Roman Karlash, CEO of Yango, extended his heartfelt congratulations and support as Pakistan launched its own version of the globally renowned business reality show, Shark Tank.

In his message, Roman expressed optimism about the potential of Pakistani entrepreneurs to shine on the world stage, acknowledging the country's vibrant entrepreneurial spirit.

Shark Tank, a highly acclaimed reality TV series, provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of successful investors, known as "sharks."

These investors offer both financial backing and mentorship to help turn innovative ideas into thriving businesses.

Since its inception in Japan as Tigers of Money in 2001, Shark Tank has been adapted in over 50 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Shark Tank Pakistan has officially begun its journey, marking a significant milestone for the country's startup ecosystem.

The registration portal, which was open from July 8th to August 5th, saw over 1,000 business ideas submitted by entrepreneurs across Pakistan, showcasing the immense talent and creativity within the nation.

Auditions for the show are currently underway at the National Incubation Center (NIC) in Karachi, in partnership with LMKT.

Entrepreneurs who successfully pass this stage will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas directly to the sharks, potentially securing the investment and guidance needed to elevate their businesses.

The launch of Shark Tank Pakistan has generated widespread excitement, with both entrepreneurs and viewers eagerly anticipating the groundbreaking ideas and inspiring success stories that will emerge from the show.

The initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering local talent and driving entrepreneurial growth across the country.
