While the world’s top athletes may have been chasing gold at the 2024 Olympics, Snoop Dogg was busy securing a different kind of victory—a $9 million payday.

The legendary rapper took to Instagram on Friday, seemingly confirming rumors that his presence at the Paris Games earned him this staggering sum.

Snoop reposted a video that highlighted his Olympic journey, which has been nothing short of iconic.

The video stated, “Snoop Dogg, a top rapper, gets over 40 million rubles daily for his presence at the Paris Olympic Games.”

Over the course of the 17-day event, this amounts to nearly $9 million.

According to the video, Snoop was paid handsomely to bring attention to the Olympics, with nearly every top broadcast featuring him.

The rapper reportedly attended all major Olympic events, further solidifying his role as a key figure in the Games.

Rumors about Snoop’s earnings first surfaced earlier this month when an X user tweeted that the rapper was making $500,000 a day at the Olympics, along with paid expenses.

The tweet read, “Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner, he said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics. From ‘Gin and Juice’ to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics—what a world.”

Snoop’s Olympic journey began with him carrying the Olympic torch through a Parisian suburb, an honor he described as something he "truly respects."

Throughout the Games, Snoop also teamed up with 28-time Olympian Michael Phelps for a lighthearted dip in the pool, where they attempted a synchronized swimming routine.

“Mike, you make this look too easy,” Snoop joked. “You see I’m in gold medal condition."

To cap off his Parisian adventure, Snoop Dogg delivered a memorable performance at the closing ceremony, where he performed his hit tracks “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “The Next Episode” alongside Dr. Dre.
