Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, continuing their Colombian tour, arrived in the vibrant city of Cartagena on August 17. Their visit included an enriching experience at Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, a local drum school dedicated to preserving traditional African drumming. The couple enthusiastically participated in a drum lesson alongside Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband.

Vice President Márquez, who invited the couple to Colombia, emphasized the significance of preserving cultural heritage and praised Harry and Meghan's advocacy against injustice.

The Cartagena stop marked the third school visit on their tour, showcasing their commitment to education and community engagement. The Duke and Duchess also visited a village with deep African roots, reflecting their dedication to uplifting marginalized communities, a core value of their Archewell Foundation.

This international trip, following their recent visit to Nigeria, highlights their ongoing commitment to global causes. Their itinerary reflects their long-standing philanthropic interests, including support for the military community and female empowerment.
