Police crack down on sand theft

City police chief Javed Alam Odho has taken swift action against the rampant sand and gravel theft in Malir, ordering an immediate inquiry into the matter.

DIG East Zone Ghulam Azfar Mahesar has been directed to conduct a thorough investigation and submit a report within three days. The move comes after media reports highlighted the large-scale theft of sand and gravel in the area.
