Body of woman found with throat slit

Body of a woman with multiple stab wounds and slit throat was found from a house near Site Superhighway.

The police reached the spot and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal process.

The victim, mother of five, was identified as 42-year-old Amina. Preliminary investigation revealed that Amina was stabbed by her husband Rajab Ali with a sharp instrument. The accused has escaped from the scene while police are investigating and searching for him.

This tragic incident highlights the alarming rise of domestic violence, leaving no woman safe, even in the sanctity of her own home.
