Shahrukh Khan reveals daily routine with just four hours of sleep

Bollywood megastar, who is now 50, dives deep into his far-from-ordinary daily routine.

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan, has shared details of his daily routine, giving fans a rare glimpse into his life.

In an interview with The Guardian, the megastar opened up about his five-year break from the film industry, his pandemic pastimes, and his upcoming film, King.

Reflecting on his time away from the screen, Khan, now over 50, shared that the break was essential.

"At this age, I needed a long holiday from work to come back stronger," he explained.

Like many during the COVID-19 lockdown, the actor found himself with ample free time. He took the opportunity to focus on fitness and even dabbled in Italian cooking, encouraging others to do the same.

"I was telling everyone to learn Italian dishes and exercise. I even managed to get in shape during the pandemic," he said with a hint of pride.

But the hiatus wasn’t just about self-improvement.

Khan acknowledged that stepping away from the limelight for four to five years is a significant stretch for a major star.

"My fans missed me, and it was their love that pulled me back into the world of films," he admitted.

As he prepares for his next film, King, Khan is diving back into work with full force.

The film, which was suggested by one of his office staff, will require the actor to shed some weight and refine his appearance.

"I need to start shooting, lose weight, and focus on my looks," he said, hinting at the transformation ahead.

Despite his busy schedule, Khan’s daily routine is far from ordinary.

"I sleep at 5am, and if I’m shooting, I wake up by 9 or 10am," he revealed.

His days are packed, often extending late into the night.

"On shooting days, I get home around 2am, take a mandatory shower, and then work out for 30 minutes," he shared.

And when it comes to food, the superstar keeps it minimal.

"I only eat one meal a day," Khan confessed, showcasing his disciplined lifestyle.

Fans of Shah Rukh Khan can look forward to seeing him alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan, in King, where she will make her acting debut.

Abhishek Bachchan is also set to play a negative role in the film. With such an intense routine and a big film on the horizon, King Khan is clearly gearing up for a spectacular return to the big screen.
