The first endurance challenge of Big Brother 26 turned out to be a disappointment. Fans had eagerly anticipated the Wall Competition, which took place on Thursday night (August 15), but it ended much sooner than expected.
Only three hours after Cedric Hodges was unexpectedly evicted, the remaining houseguests faced off to win the title of Head of Household in Week 5. Everyone, including Angela Murray and Quinn Martin, participated in this endurance challenge, making it a crucial opportunity for the contestants to seize power after Cedric's surprising departure.
The challenge was broadcast live on the Live Feeds after the August 15 episode aired on the West Coast. However, the Wall Competition was so brief that producers will need to include additional content in the August 18 episode.
Angela was the first to fall within just a few minutes, followed by Kimo. Soon after, Joseph, Leah, and Chelsie were also out of the running. With five contestants eliminated in under 10 minutes, the challenge didn’t live up to expectations.
As the competition continued for another five or six minutes, it appeared that the remaining players were prepared to endure for longer. However, T’Kor, Makensy, Brooklyn, and Rubina soon dropped out, leaving just three competitors after about 24 or 25 minutes.
Cam finished in third place after hanging on for an additional six or seven minutes, leaving Tucker and Quinn to fight for the Head of Household title. The Live Feeds then cut out, and when they returned, Tucker was declared the new Head of Household. Viewers will have to tune in to the next episode to see what happened during the final moments.
