Actress January Jones has shared a series of social media posts reacting to the recent shooting incident at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
The incident occurred on April 25 at the Washington Hilton, where a suspect identified as Cole Allen reportedly fired several shots inside the venue.
No injuries were reported, and Donald Trump, alongside other officials including JD Vance, was evacuated by security personnel. The suspect was apprehended shortly afterwards.
Jones, known for her role in Mad Men, posted a satirical message on Instagram Stories in response to the event.
Her remarks included, “Do you have a boring dinner party coming up, and lots of losers and fake friends have rsvp'd?,” followed by, “Are you looking for help staging a small-scale low risk assassination attempt to get out of it?”

The actress concluded her posts by writing, “This is NOT a one time offer. You can do it as many times as you want. Taxes don't apply.”
The comments circulated widely online, where reactions were mixed. Some users criticised the tone of the posts, while others viewed them as satire reflecting broader political discourse following the incident.
Following the event, Trump addressed reporters at a press conference, stating he was “honoured” to have been the target. He added, “It's always shocking when something like this happens. Happened to me, a little bit. And that never changes.”
