Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann celebrate elegant Arkansas wedding after two-month engagement

Jana Duggar from Counting On and her fiancé, Stephen Wissmann, have tied the knot just two months after their engagement. The couple celebrated their marriage with a “classic” and “elegant” ceremony in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, on August 15, with 500 guests in attendance, as reported by People.

Jana, 34, shared her excitement leading up to the wedding, expressing that it felt surreal to see her long-held dreams coming true. ““For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming,” she said. “But now it’s starting to sink in.”

“Reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this truly is something that I’ve dreamed of.’ And just to see it coming about is incredible and kind of hard to believe. It’s a dream come true.”

The wedding was held at The Grand at Willow Springs, with Jessa Duggar Seewald serving as the maid of honor. The bridal party also included Jana’s sister-in-law Abbie Duggar and her sisters Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, and Jordyn Duggar as bridesmaids. Jana wore a stunning off-the-shoulder ivory satin ball gown, which she described as “classy and a bit like a princess,” while her father, Jim Bob Duggar, escorted her down the aisle.

Both Jana and Stephen come from large families—Duggar is one of 19 siblings, and Wissmann is one of 13. Jana remarked on the significance of having all their loved ones present for the special occasion. “Coming from two bigger families, we love to be able to get together and celebrate moments like these,” she said.

Earlier on the same day, In Touch confirmed that the couple had applied for a marriage license, following engagement rumors that began circulating in July. Jana and Stephen, 31, were first seen together in 2020. Jana had fueled engagement speculation on Instagram in July 2024 by posting photos showing a ring on her left hand, prompting followers to comment and inquire about her relationship status.
