Alhamra prepares for annual Adab Festival

LAHORE:

The Lahore Arts Council, Alhamra, in collaboration with the Punjab Department of Information and Culture, is set to host the 6th Annual Adab Festival Pakistan on August 17.

The event has become a renowned literary, cultural, and intellectual gathering.

Among the prominent personalities set to attend are Salman Faruqui, Kamran Lashari, Dr Amjad Saqib, Aitzaz Ahsan, Yasir Latif Hamdani, Seema Aziz, Roshaneh Zafar and Ali Qasmi.

Founded in 2010 under the leadership of Amina Saiyid, the Adab Festival Pakistan has grown into a vibrant platform.

Organised by Lightstone Publishers, this year's festival promises to be a celebration of Pakistan's literary and cultural legacy.

Razi Ahmed, Chairman of Alhamra, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Through the Adab Festival, we celebrate the power of words and the depth of our cultural heritage.

It is a gathering where literature and culture are at the forefront."

Sarah Rashid, Executive Director of Alhamra, added, "The Adab Festival Pakistan is a tribute to our literary heritage, a place where ideas are brought to life and culture thrives."
