Scott Eastwood provides family update after the death of Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood’s partner
Scott Eastwood has provided an update on how his family is coping after the recent death of Christina Sandera, the longtime partner of his father, Clint Eastwood. Sandera passed away on July 18 at the age of 61, with her death attributed to cardiac arrhythmia, as confirmed by a representative from the Monterey County Health Department.
Speaking to E! News, Scott Eastwood, 38, shared that the family, including his 94-year-old father, is holding up in the wake of the tragedy. "Everyone is great," he said, adding, "He is doing OK. Thank you for asking," in reference to Clint Eastwood.
Christina Sandera, who had been in a relationship with Clint Eastwood for several years, was a former hostess at Clint’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. The couple maintained a low-profile relationship, although Sandera accompanied Clint to various high-profile events, including the premieres of his films "Sully," "The Mule," "The 15:17 to Paris," and "Richard Jewell," as well as the 2015 Academy Awards.
Clint Eastwood expressed his grief over Sandera’s passing, stating, "Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much." Sandera’s death came just a month after she and Clint attended the wedding of Clint’s daughter, Morgan Eastwood, at his ranch in Carmel, California.
In addition to Scott and Morgan, Clint Eastwood has six other children: Laurie Murray, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, Alison Eastwood, Kathryn Eastwood, Francesca Eastwood, and Kyle Eastwood. Scott, who has followed in his father’s footsteps as an actor, has appeared in notable films such as "Invictus," "Suicide Squad," and "Pacific Rim Uprising."
