Brad Pitt appears to have resolved his long-standing feud with George Clooney.

The two actors, who had a well-known clash in the 1980s over one of Hollywood’s most quintessential disputes, both sported mullet hairstyles during that period.

Recently, the pair addressed their old rivalry in a joint interview with GQ, where they revisited the debate over who wore the mullet better.

Brad said, "I would say one of the greatest that ever existed..."

George was quick to ask, "Was my mullet or your mullet?" Brad went on to insist, "I'm going to say mine." Appearing to agree, George said he "might say" it was his, but admitted that both of their hairstyles were a "really good shared experience".

The actors, who appeared together in Ocean's Eleven (2001), reunited for Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007). Brad also featured in George's film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2022), and both were in Dustin Lance Black’s play 8 in 2012.

George's admission of his defeat in the mullet debate comes after he bluntly criticized director David O. Russell, calling him "a miserable f***." During his GQ interview with Brad, George stated he would avoid working with Russell in the future.

George further criticized the 65-year-old director for making the production experience “hell” for him and his team, questioning if the hardship was worth it for even a “good product.” He remarked, "The older you get, time feels different. Five months of your life is a significant amount."

He then landed a cutting remark, "And so it's not just like, 'Oh, I'm going to go do a really good film, like Three Kings, and I'm going to have a miserable f*** like David O Russell making my life hell. Making every person in the crew's life hell. It's not worth it. Not at this point in my life. Just to have a good product."
