Lady Gaga unveils brunette look on Malibu date night with fiancé Michael Polansky

Lady Gaga is giving everyone plenty of reasons to do a double take.

The pop superstar was spotted enjoying a romantic evening with her fiancé, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, at Soho House in Malibu on August 13, but it wasn’t her impressive engagement ring that caught everyone’s attention. For the outing, she chose a look that was a significant departure from her usual style.

Instead of her iconic blonde hair, Gaga sported brunette locks that cascaded past her shoulders. The “Shallow” singer, 38, completed her new darker look with large dark sunglasses, a short-sleeve black top, black shorts, and sheer black tights.

The hairstyle marks a complete change from the platinum blonde she showcased during her July 26 performance on the Seine River at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. In fact, the last time she was a brunette was for the 2021 film "House of Gucci," where she played Patrizia Reggiani alongside Adam Driver, Jared Leto, and Al Pacino.

The "A Star Is Born" actress first revealed her new hairstyle in an August 13 Instagram post, where she paired her dark hair with a Bruno Mars T-shirt during a music session. In the video, she played a few chords on a white piano before flashing a peace sign.

Recently, Gaga has been sharing more glimpses of her time in the recording studio, and some fans believe her latest post might suggest something more.

Many speculated that the video unveiling her brunette hair could be teasing an upcoming collaboration between Gaga and Bruno Mars, as she was wearing a T-shirt featuring the "Locked Out of Heaven" singer.
