Brad Pitt sees his acting career in its "last leg" - but it's not what you think

Brad Pitt sees his acting career entering a new chapter, describing it as the "last leg," but clarifies that he's not retiring.

In a recent interview for GQ Magazine alongside George Clooney, Pitt explained that he views his career as having distinct seasons. He described the initial excitement of starting out, followed by the challenges and rewards of achieving success, and now, a period of reflection and contemplation about the final years of his career.   

At 60, Pitt acknowledges the physical limitations of aging but draws inspiration from 95-year-old architect Frank Gehry, who remains active and creative. He sees Gehry's continued passion for his work and family as a formula for staying vibrant and fulfilled in later life.   

Clooney echoed Pitt's sentiments about the freedom actors have to shape their careers, even as they age. He emphasized the importance of embracing change and taking on diverse roles, rather than clinging to the past.

Both actors highlight the importance of adapting and evolving in their careers, demonstrating that age doesn't have to define one's artistic journey. Pitt's perspective on his "last leg" is less about retirement and more about a conscious shift towards appreciating the present and embracing new opportunities in this phase of his life.
