Blake Lively reportedly felt 'fat-shamed' by Justin Baldoni while filming It Ends With Us, expressing discomfort over a kissing scene in which she believed Baldoni lingered longer than necessary.

New reports from The Sun reveal two specific incidents that made Lively uneasy. One incident involved Baldoni's preparation for a scene where he had to lift Lively.

According to sources, Baldoni asked a trainer about Lively’s weight and sought advice to prevent back injury, which led Lively to feel self-conscious about her weight.

Lively, who welcomed her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds in February 2023, was reportedly troubled by this comment. Additionally, another instance involved a kissing scene where Lively felt Baldoni’s lingering was excessive.

In response to the rumors, Baldoni has engaged crisis PR manager Melissa Nathan for assistance.

The tension between the two actors became apparent when Justin was spotted alone at the film's premiere, despite playing one of the romantic leads alongside Blake.

The two did not take any photos together, and Justin was noticeably absent from pictures with other cast members as well. Adding to the intrigue, almost all of the cast have unfollowed him on Instagram.

Fans have been quick to speculate about the reason behind the apparent fallout. Some believe that Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, may have wanted more creative control over the project, and that Justin’s refusal to give in could have led to a rift.

With most of the cast unfollowing him, it appears that Justin might be the one at odds with the rest of the team.

In a recent interview, when asked about potentially directing the sequel, Justin responded, "I think that there are better people for that one. I think Blake Lively is ready to direct."

While the comment might seem complimentary on the surface, fans have interpreted it as a subtle dig, possibly implying that Blake was trying to take over his role as director.

Justin also mentioned that there wasn’t a part of the production that Blake didn’t touch or influence. This has led some fans to believe that Blake was heavily involved in decision-making and may have overruled Justin on several aspects of the film.
