The film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel "It Ends With Us" has become a box office hit, exceeding expectations with a $50 million opening weekend and surpassing the $100 million mark globally. This success, however, comes amidst reports of behind-the-scenes tensions between star Blake Lively and director/co-star Justin Baldoni.

The film, which tackles the sensitive themes of domestic violence and redemption, resonated with audiences, fueled in part by Lively's passionate advocacy for survivors. Sony Pictures Entertainment Chair-CEO Tony Vinciquerra praised Lively's commitment and expressed a desire to collaborate on future projects.

Despite Baldoni's initial enthusiasm for adapting Hoover's novel, his absence from cast events and recent hiring of a crisis communications expert suggest a growing rift with Lively and other cast members. Sources revealed to THR that Lively commissioned her own cut of the film, further highlighting creative differences.

While the behind-the-scenes drama continues, "It Ends With Us" serves as a testament to the power of female-driven storytelling and the importance of addressing difficult subjects with care and sensitivity. The film's box office success, largely attributed to Lively's dedication and the compelling narrative, has solidified its place as a cultural phenomenon.
