Sindh approaches Supreme Court over Rashid's jibe
The Sindh government has moved to challenge the IHC decision to dismiss a case against AML chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed in the Supreme Court over his derogatory remarks against PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
The government has filed a petition in the apex court, contesting the IHC's June 25 ruling, which it argued was unlawful and should be annulled.
The petition claims that the judge, during the chamber hearing, failed to properly consider the case.
It further argues that the AML chief's use of inappropriate language against Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in front of the media incited the party's workers.
